In this new age of mobile devices, internet, and artificial intelligence, I keep on thinking what the next growth strategies for Eastern should be.

Taking a bird's-eye view of the future expands the market, and your horizons. Although existing concepts and strategies are facing adjustments, opportunities and room for growth are expanding infinitely. It's a matter of whether we have the ability and courage to welcome the challenges.

In the future, we will create new markets, new channels, and new opportunities for mainland China and Taiwan's new media and retail industries. Not only will we reach the largest scales, we'll also achieve the best results!

Our adherence to customer orientation means EHS Select is a quality guarantee.

Eastern was first established as a port silo company. Eastern later actively transformed itself, gradually entering TV channel operations, the broader media industry, and the virtual channel retail market. Throughout our journey, Eastern has always been able to stay ahead of upcoming trends; and starting from our core industry, Eastern looks for new momentum that will push the next wave of growth.

With our omni-channel marketing approach, Eastern has set a new example for Taiwan's e-commerce retail and distribution industry. EHS Select is the core value for ET Mall. This is also implemented within the culture of every part of the enterprise. We hold ourselves accountable to consumers by practicing careful management and control in all stages, including front-end product development, quality control, program production, customer service, payment flow security, and back-end logistics and delivery. Because of this, every item that is EHS Select must go through 70 quality control examinations. Eastern's consumer satisfaction rate has always been better than 95%.

Faced with major changes in the economic environment, as well as in industrial structuring both at home and abroad, Eastern began proactive transformations in 1990. The company combined innovative concepts such as big data, social networking, and precision member marketing to connect the expansion of two new business fields: smart technology services for daily life,and new media. Eastern's development revolves around vertically integrated, omni-channel, and diversified operational approaches. These not only inject vitality and competitiveness into the enterprise, but also generates new energy for the brand.

Established as a silo company, Eastern eventually became an international logistic hub covering shipping, port operations, and trade. We went from the storage and transportation industry to the rising media industry, from utilizing virtual shopping channels to starting a revolution in omni-channel technological retailing, Eastern is always able to open up new territories and implement bold strategies at critical moments. In response to China's 13th five-year plan, a policy that aims to maintain a medium-to-high speed in economic growth, Eastern will use our decade-long experience in multi-channel retail as a foundation for connecting the development of China’s virtual and physical retail channels. The aim is to enter China’s huge retail market with a multi-pronged model that involves both omni-channel retailing and proprietary products.

Eastern is confident about using our innovative operational model to connect mainland China and Taiwan’s technological retail services for daily life. Furthermore, using mainland China and Taiwan as a starting point, Eastern will enter the Southeast Asian markets, then step onto the world stage.

Eastern has been a multiple-system operator (MSO) in Taiwan for 25 years;Eastern has generated positive word of mouth for ourselves in many media fields, including satellite television, TV shopping channels, online shopping, and internet media. Using our experience successfully operating media channels in Taiwan as a foundation, in the next 10 years, Eastern will actively expand domains for new media business operations in order to become an innovative, excellent leader for global Chinese enterprise in the new media industry.
